Today's Forecast

Today's Forecast Image
  • 86°
  • 73°

We're in the midst of a mini-heatwave across the upper Midwest, and warm, humid air is going to stick around through most of Tuesday before a cold front delivers less humid, more comfortable air. With dew points lingering in the 70s and a south wind overnight, lows will be no cooler than about 73 degrees Tuesday morning. Sticky air will linger through Tuesday morning before the winds shift and a northwest breeze begins sending less humid air into the region late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, and the rest of the week will stay comfortably warm. In regards to our storm chances tonight, there is indeed a chance, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high for rain. The most likely area for any severe storms tonight is through central to northern Minnesota, and if we see any showers/storms locally, it's going to be closer to sunrise Tuesday morning with the threat for rain ending by the mid-morning.
